Covenant Groups and Online Learning -- Cultivating Fruitfulness - Day 17

Once a month I gather with a group of area United Methodist Church pastors for a time sharing and learning. We usually spend time discussing our own spiritual journeys and the lives of our congregations. It is a great time to swap ideas and share encouragement.

We actually have a signed covenant for this group as a way of showing our commitment to one another and to the process of regular meetings. This covenant is also a way of setting goals for ourselves and holding one another accountable to those goals.

I find this covenant group a great way to learn and grow as a Christian.

I also use my computer for intentional faith development. Through sites such as facebook I am able to keep in touch with friends and colleagues. But I also receive daily prayers and Bible studies via email. It is convenient that way.

I also use iTunes to download and watch podcasts of other church's worship services and teaching times.

If you want to see what I am watching and learning, drop by my office, and I'd be more than happy to share with you!

What are your ways of learning? How do you share what you learned? What types of learning opportunities would you like to see at Pomme de Terre UMC?
